On behalf of Clarian Health Partners, Inc. (Indianapolis, Indiana), JAI completed the development of an entirely privately funded, urban public transit system on a public right-of-way based on advanced automated people mover technology. Under a unique and innovative franchise agreement with the City of Indianapolis (fully conceived and implemented by JAI), this pioneering 1.5 mile (2.4 km) transit system project became a reality in just two years.

The project was completed under the management of JAI, which conceived the implementation scenario and established the project's economic viability. The system is fundamental in the redevelopment of the areas along the alignment and totally integrated into building and garage structures around the stations with overhead, air-conditioned walkways.

This project is a result of substantial effort by JAI to transfer the Las Vegas People Mover implementation experience into other American urban settings. As a result, the new system has enhanced the overall image of the area, improved its economic performance, and provided unparalleled employees and general public movement convenience. This project is an unparalleled success story having been implemented at a fraction of the cost of other similar projects nationwide, and at no cost to taxpayers.
