Virginia Beach (VA) has long been regarded as a premier destination resort within the U.S. To reduce regional congestion, further enhance the regions resort and tourism character, and create an "outside the box" transportation solution, JAI supported a premier Virginia Beach-based developer with initial feasibility planning and conceptual renderings for a new APM tram system to connect a proposed waterfront hotel and entertainment development with the nearby Virginia Beach Convention Center. At full development, this new link will enable convention goers a direct link to the convention center while remaining on the Virginia Beach oceanfront area.
